The Sts. Leo-Seton Catholic School Multimedia Library is the heartbeat of the school. All students have frequent and regular access to all that it offers. The SLS Multimedia Library holds more than 11,000 books and hundreds of media resources for student, teacher and parent use. The library is completely automated. Students and teachers have access to the electronic card catalog from any computer in the school and from home. The school librarian holds weekly scheduled sessions for all classes in Pre-K through 5th grades. Junior high students run on a flexible schedule as needed. In addition, students in grades 2-8 may visit the library at any time during the school day with their teacher's permission and at all scheduled recesses. Computers are accessible to students for web-based accelerated Reader programs and research. The library is also home to an extensive video library, a Title 1 resource library, an extra classroom and a math resource room, which further enhance student learning. |
