Junior High Building Receives Local Support
We have been so blessed at SLS to participate in one of the most
important times in our school’s
history – our 50th anniversary and
construction of our new junior high
building. Prior to the capital
campaign officially kicking off in
2008, our junior high building was
only a dream. However, through
the outpouring of prayer and the
amazing generosity from
supporters, we are witnessing our
dream come true.
When one joins the family of SLS,
you join a “family of
service.” With numerous
opportunities to share time and
talent, the capital campaign gives
us an opportunity to also share our
treasure.
Funds raised from this effort
continue to play a vital role in our
ability to fulfill our mission:
“to teach as Jesus
did, building a
community of
believers dedicated
to serving others,
while providing
excellent academics
within a nurturing
environment”
In 2008, we received a construction
grant from The Stuller Family
Foundation. We are thrilled to
inform you that we have again
been blessed by this committed
philanthropic organization with a
matching grant donation dedicated
to technology for our new
building. These funds will be used
for technology upgrades and the
purchase of whiteboard
technology.
Our junior high building has been a
long awaited addition to
SLS. Please contact the
development office if you, your
business or someone you know are
interested in more information
about participating in the junior
high building capital
campaign.
